I just do not understand the mindset of these European politicians (and their media apologists) that are hellbent on importing millions of foreign-born hostile Muslims into their countries – and they are shocked (SHOCKED) when a horrific terror attack “randomly” occurs.
A State Necessity
There is nothing random about terror attacks in this day and age. In fact, one might conclude by the behavior of Western politicians that terror attacks have become the vehicle of choice for domestic statecraft. Before 9/11, the domestic surveillance policies of the Bush and Obama administrations would have been politically unattainable. But now they are indispensable for the monitoring and control of the modern techno-state.
The State imports terror so it can restrict freedom in the name of fighting terror. This is how the modern Western state operates.
Can the Second Amendment Thwart Terrorism?
I am just thankful we live in a country where (for now) the Second Amendment guarantees the right to bear arms. Such rights do not exist in France. Of course, our politicians are feverishly working to import more and more Third World, welfare-addicted, left-wing voters into our country to vote our gun rights away anyways, so I suppose we’ll just have to enjoy it while it lasts.
Of course, the Second Amendment has more or less been abrogated by the technocratic elite and Big Business in this country for some time. Right at the front entrance to my workplace (and likely every other high-tech company) is signs posted saying “No Firearms Allowed”, as if those signs would dissuade any determined Muslim terrorist from storming the building, and slaughtering scores of disarmed, innocent people.
Even if I were to own a gun, I am prohibited from carrying it to the place I work at for nearly the entire day, so what is the point? It was the same way in graduate school. Guns were banned on campus, where I would spend 90% of my waking hours. Any gun I theoretically were to purchase would have just sat at home collecting dust.
I suppose our biggest ally in the War on Terror isn’t France, England, or any other European country or our own government – it is the Atlantic Ocean.
